The first of january of 1905 was created the Independiente Football Club,in Avellaneda.
The eleven of august of 1989,I was born...and then the romance started.
Since it's creation,Independinte was identified with it's shirt color: red. And since it's creation it is one of the most important teams in Argetina,and why not the hole wordl.
For times in a row winner of "Copa Libertadores", and many other nacional and internacional tournaments winner, Independiente's fans bauptized the club "El Rey de Copas".
Nowadays, Independiente isn't the spectacular team it used to be. We haven't won a tournament since 2002, and we don't have any chance of winning the one wich is been played right now.
But the fans are still there...we know that the good days will come back,and Independiente will be the team it was..the one that won tournaments every year,everywhere ,had the best players, and made merits be considered "El Orgullo Nacional", which, in spite of the bad results, still is.
